Jane Austen! Loved this. The postcard of her writing table is beautiful. I still remember gasping when I first saw the little table in person.

It's a moment isn't it. To think its where she sat and created her works, and looking out the same window. It makes me wonder who she knew in real life to inspire her characters and all the day to day events

Jane Austen. I would have taken the 1982 and 1984 plates, the 2 rainbow striped mugs, the Florence Nightingale mug, the floral wash jug at 6.02, the 2 cup and saucers at 6.10. Thank you very much for showing us the Jane Austen museum, the village, and the model railway. I definitely would also have gone for the postcards that you have. I love that first pencil, the words.

Jane Austen - she is one of my favourite authors, Persuasion is my favourite of her works. I definitely judge a book by the cover and always go for the nicely illustrated ones 😁 I have read a few Sarah Morgan books and really liked them.

I love bone china and saw a few teacups and saucers that I would have picked up had I been the one shopping. I have read many of Sophie Kinsella's books and share your fondness for her writing. Jane Austen 🙂

I was very tempted by the Petter Rabbit cup. I mau have carried it arround the shop for a little while. I'm sure there must be other authors who use the same style as Sophie Kinsella but I'm yet to find any who match her, but i will keep searching. If you find one let me know, and Ill look in my local library. 😊

I didn't know their name but regretting not picking them up now I've Googled! Blimey! I remember they were sold in jewellery shops in the UK. I think the person who donated them must have collected them as it looked like a small village.

Thank you. 😊 The joy of finding a new Sophie Kinsella. While its only been out a month or two I hope she writes another this year. Ive now gone and sourced some of her earlier books from the library but I'm almost sure Ive read them before. One you've read her latest it'd be great to hear what you think of it.
