I'm sure you will. When I watch videos of the giant Goodwills in USA and Canada or the amazing designer finds in Italy it inspires me to take a trip. Perhaps one day.

Thank you. I was so surprised to find so many great items. I had to be very strong not to bring home any mugs. I could easily have been tempted by some I saw. Will see if that resolve lasts for the next trip.....

I'm glad you liked it and it's inspired you. I'd also like to check out the charity shops in London but am yet to do it. I'm thinking somewhere like Chelsea or Kensington but I might find in reality even the charity shops there have designer price tags. I guess the joy is even the nearest charity shop may have that item which is pure treasure.

@@tinymouse.travel oh, having a look around Chelsea is a good idea! I'm based in south London but I'm in the centre almost every day so I should definitely have a look! As you said, some people might have been very charitable over christmas :D I once found a little wooden box shaped in the form of Charles Dickens' Curiosity shop. It's one of my most treasured items. Fingers crossed for many more wonderful finds in the future 🤞🏻

That sounds like a fantastically unique find. In Chichester one of the volunteers was telling me a little about one of the people who donates regularly and always brings in interesting items. I love the thought that the items in theory could be from anywhere in the world and from decades or even hundreds of years ago. When you have a look, let me know what your top find is. :)

it is a back flow burner, you have to use backflow cones and let them burn for a while then you will see the smoke go down they are very relaxing

Thank you 😊 I think I had a bit of a thrift fail with this one as I rushed off to buy regular incense. My guess is it was donated as the orginal owner ran out of the backflow cones.
