maybe a daft question.....I'm building a new world with this mod installed, and am looking at dimensions in order to build my central railway station.........how wide are the tracks/trains in blocks; and how long in blocks, is a typical train as seen on here?

The regular sized tracks, which I use here, are 2 blocks wide, however any other gravel on the side can extend further out. Hope that helps.

Not always! This was a single player world. It certainly makes it a lot easier on a server, but not required.
