John Hume on the Lone Moor Road outside Mr Sheerin's house ,seen standing having a smoke,Mr Hume lived around the corner in Westend Park and was probably out talking about the retaining wall which collapsed or was used for barricades along the road there. There was a lot of shooting and bombing in that area as the British troops stationed nearby in Bligh's Lane Post were constantly under fire.
