Don't forget the contribution of the Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Welsh🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and Irish soldiers during the war, my Scottish friend served as British Defence Attaché to Korea (1997-2001) a Scots Guardsman 💂 and Falklands veteran his grand uncle was the only one who survived the war from among the 6 members of the family who went to fight 5 never returned, he's also married to a Korean who was educated in Scotland, presently living in Edinburgh and have 2 children they speak Korean with their Scottish accent.

i literally cannot get over the fact the korean army hand selected people who are not only very fit, but also very fluent in english. not people who have heavy accents, but people who have slight accents and know/understand english and can easily communicate with them. i find that really respectable, because i know it's really hard to be that fluent in more than one language, and english is kinda hard to learn /fluently/ (grammar and considering the fact asian language tongues/pronunciations are different from english tongues/pronunciations)

What a fitting day for this to be posted. Today in Australia ( and New Zealand) we are honouring all our military personnel and the sacrifices they have made or will make, past, present and future! A sacrifice all Korean men ( and some women) make to keep not only their country safe, but also to provide stability to the region is truly commendable. Fyi Australia was the second country behind the U.S. to commit all 3 branches of the military to help fight in the Korean War - so lest we forgot all our fallen brethren 💛💙💛💙
