Very comprehensive !! You know your way around this craft without doubt, I'll have to watch this vid several times as I'm a complete greenhorn lol, I down loaded it this morning at 6:00am and managed to get it started and taxied to Runway 24 at roughly 6:50 foggy conditions in Georgia (U.S.) and promptly crashed it due to my rudder settings and incompetence, second attempt was spooky but i managed to fly a circuit and land it crabbing Runway 6 10-15 knot wind from 360 in VR without a need for a change of undergarments.... For me that is .., i can only hope to get a handle on this craft ...the realism in Just flight is leaps and bounds beyond the stock MSFS 2020 Stable ...Liked and Subscribed, Looking forward to watching all your Videos for guidance Cheers !! as Y'all say ...TT

Nice model. If I'd have any criticism so far it would be one detail in the exterior visual model: the elevator antiservo tab (that also works as a trim tab) is moving the wrong direction when trim is applied (when you trim UP, it visually moves as if it were being trimmed DOWN and vice versa). Not to forget, when a tab moves UP on the stabilator, it creates a down force on its trailing edge, (stab leading edge UP), therefore driving the stabilator to a more airplane nose DOWN direction. The catch here is that in the model it is moving in the right direction when responding to elevator inputs (antiservo function). It's only in trim that it's the other way around.

Hi, have you had any issues manually tuning the coms radio to ATC frequencies? I'm finding the ATC give a frequency say for example 124.22 but I find that the com radio cant tune to that frequency after the decimal point as the number go up and down in different increments??
@BritishAvgeek Жыл бұрын
Sometimes it'll need one click left/right for it to tune in nicely 👍 some frequencies like 124.22 might actually be 124.225 for example
@jayrermars8493 Жыл бұрын
@@BritishAvgeek Thanks for reply. I'll have another go tomorrow with it but I was finding ATC would say 118.27 but my radio would manually tune 118.25 then next number 118.30 so can't actually tune to the exact frequency ATC give? Very odd.

I quite enjoy your videos, so much variety in content and I’ve learned a lot. Besides skyvector what charts website/software were you looking at in the beginning for those sectionals?
@BritishAvgeek3 жыл бұрын
The more locally specific charts are all from NATS and their AIP for UK aerodromes. If you want VRPs though you'll need to actually buy Pooleys sadly
Soory how did you put the flight plan from the skyvector to the airplan? you didn't show it :-)
@BritishAvgeek3 жыл бұрын
I didn't - it was VFR so I made the route on a map, then followed it but also used VORs and NDBs to help navigate too to show those features :)

Thanks for the tutorial flight, I just flew it llike you did to learn. I am confused on the altitude restrictions. The number under and above the line: am I supposed to fly between these altitudes, or am i denied to fly between these altitudes? And what am I supposed to do when different boundaries overlap? You also mentioned a VRP to use right after Denham departure but cannot find that on a map?
@BritishAvgeek3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yep the VRP I mentioned, is basically the town of St. Giles (there is a church but it can't be seen in MSFS) if that helps to fly it on the map. For the altitudes - if one says 3500 then a line above it, and 5000 above that then it says you must fly outside of that airspace zone - so you would for example fly at 2,500 or 3,000ft instead... and if you then fly to a zone with a lower airspace level of 3000 and you are at 3000, I would recommend descending to 2,500ft to stay clear :)
