Question: You said that you need to call up for clearance 30 - 45 minutes before you enter their airspace, so, by that logic, if you're in a control/center airspace, would you ask for an early handoff to the active Atlantic Contrtoller frequency?

What’s the proper way to get the plane to takeoff without the arm throttle triggering to go back to idle? I had that happen nearly every time I was trying to roll down the runway

Is there a joystick that you can use out of the box that works with these aircraft? I have the Thrustmaster TCA with Throttle Quadrant and can’t get it to work with the B777. I also have the Thrustmaster HOTAS One and again I can’t get the throttles to work. It’s frustrating as!

If i create my custom views like you just showed in this video will I loose all of them and have to set them up again if I reinstall the sim?

So I did my first flight using B773ER but there's some things that I had encounter here...when descending for landing the flaps dosen't seem to retract to slow down the plane's airspeed & 2nd after touchdown when taxiing to the gate at the airport the flaps did not raise back up to the wings? What could be the problem here?😅😅

Great fan, enjoy your videos and commentary. Note issues with having to spend wisely, I’ve held off with 777 and likely to go with MD - 11 as an alternative as I like cargo and engine options. Also like the retro and unique style but they might struggle for support as many have jumped to 777 like there was pent up demand for anything new…….thanks for ongoing commentary!

I have the same issue for the TCA boeing yoke and it gets pretty annoying when you are trying to land

So I don't see wing tip strokes

i’m loving the 777 but i’m really struggling to hand fly a stable approach. if i want to descend at 700fpm, even small inputs seems to make it swing between -1400 and +300. i think it’s something to do with trimming the aircraft. do you have any tips?

Quick question: anybody knows why some SIDs are missing in the GTN750. Tried to fly from EDDK to EDDP on the PODI7M SID, couldnt find it within the GTN....

Great videos. I am looking forward to getting to grips with this. Why didn’t you go for 250 in the descent? I would have been inclined to go for this as you were approaching FL100. Is FL100/250 knots a restriction in the UK?

Theres a problem for me. for some reason the nose wheel tiller barely turns to the left and right, not allowing me to turn properly at all. Im also having issues with the parking brakes. Anyone have a solution?

Just thought I’d let you know, the issue your having with the tca Boeing Yoke, I had the same issue. It’s the potentiometers that are worn. I couldn’t fix mine and TM didn’t want to know because I was a month out of warranty 😢 I sold mine with the issue identified for £100 as the guy said he’d be able to fix it. I’ve never bought another tca product since.

Lifesaver! Thank you so much for doing this video. I just finished downloading the plane but wanted to make sure I could start it. Pretty much identical to the 787/747, which makes sense. Now to find out how to taxi this beast. Turning has always been a problem for me, I tend to run wide and end up doing some offroading. The 747 is a contender for the WRC, I think. Great suspension and wonderful power coming off the apex of turns. Also great for running over small planes. Can you imagine being in a Cessna 172 and seeing a 777 or 747 behind you?! Anyway, thanks for the superb video, now to episode 2. Too bad I can't subscribe again. Liked as always!

God the sounds are so bad. Expensive expected better

Hydraulic pumps should be off until you are ready for pushback, then confirm with ground that you are clear to pressurise.

I really enjoy the tutorials because studying them helps me follow along better on the live flights.
