That was absolutely mint. I’ve spoke to John in the past, I knew what is up and down are with his Boxing career. It’s quite bizarre the way I become friends with John was I watch a interview with him about 2/3 years ago. I was that impressed. We had someone that was going to say it as it is. Honestly, real honest, honestly. I was absolutely blown away. So I messaged them. You could not add him as a friend.so I sent him a message which I did. Within five minutes we were friends on Facebook. John Murray sees people for what they are. He definitely does not. Pull any punches. Have a to listen to this amazing podcast. With Dan Murray. I’ve been around the boxing game coaching at the amateur seen. Believe me the things I heard on here today was exactly what John said 2/3 years ago John’s passion outstanding, I used to be a very high shop steward for the newspapers which was a really difficult job at the times but it’s main aim is to look after the workers on the shopfloor. I have racked my brains 🧠. Thinking of the way forward because John’s passion to stamp out the bad side of the great fight game absolutely blew me away. The passion that came out of him when we were talking. I was night after night reading law books just put a stop to what are he went through at the end of a remarkable career, he give his heart and soul to Boxing, and it turned its back from him, Absolutely diabolical we need to help Mark John set up and come in boxes, so they don’t make the same mistakes. Can you imagine your phone is ringing every day on the day you’re so true cannot carry on not one phone call disgusting. John gave everything for the sport. I’m sure he won’t mind me saying one story that he told me. When it was final, his career was over, he asked his promoter for a couple of ticket . I think it was a Joshua fight and when he told me this i felt sick to the stomach. He was given two tickets, and as he told me this he looked me directly in the eye. He said Mark I was that high up in the stands, you can’t even see the ring hardly. That could of been 2 to 3 years ago. And he still got that passion there. John is definitely somebody to speak to. If you’re considering a career in Boxing, I think he would make a fantastic mentor. Once again, I’m absolutely open and honest podcast Dan Murray you are nailing it. This podcast is sharing right around the country, even the world. They cannot be just happening in this country.
