These are currently difficult times and I feel saddened and shocked to hear the passing of a huge comic legend. RIP Tim Brooke-Taylor.

Really sad news today. I was at the Q&A and was lucky enough to ask Tim the question about Python. He was a very funny man and we won’t ever see his like again.

I recently bought the DVD box set. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet, as I want to wait until I have the time to binge watch it. RIP Tim. So glad that The Lovely Aimi MacDonald is still with us.

Aimi hasn't really changed and Tim always seems such a sweetie. I wondered why he didn't join the Pythons as he was so talented and was good friends with Graham and John (since university I believe) but obviously writing wasn't his strong point. They are both a link to a "golden age" of British TV and radio comedy in the 60s and 70s.

The sound was EXTREMELY quiet, but I just pricked up my ears and locked the wife in the coal cellar.

The show wasn't satirical as the video description says. 'TW3' and 'The Frost Report' were but 'At Last the 1948 Show' wasn't.
