Players are mic'd up every game. They aren't heard live. They are edited by NFL Films and released later. Calvin "Megatron" Johnson wondered why they bothered to mic him up because he doesn't say anything. On the other hand, Ray Lewis was a mic'd up fave. He never shut up and had a high octane personality.

The guy who made the tackle at 5:03 is DK Metcalf. He tried out for the US Olympic team in the 100 dash. Didn't make the team but finished in 10.33 seconds, faster than two of the specialist sprinters who were trying out.

number 94 on the Dolphins Christian Wilkins and 13 on the Raiders Hunter Renfrow were teammates in college at Clemson.

Dolphins are synonymous with the warm waters around Miami, they are seen all the time and often interact with beach goers. I honestly can't think of a more perfect name. Lots of teams are names after animals or things specific to their local area or region.

55 on the Eagles is Brandon Graham, and he's known for his funny trash talk. He's also an Eagles legend as he got the game winning strip-sack on Brady in the Eagles 1st SB win

I feel like our most recent SuperBowl winning team really set the bar high for being down-to-earth and getting super connected to the community. Relating to people is exactly why this mic'd up thing started. It's done wonders for the NFL and players public image. It makes them real people. You should bandwagon ride the Eagles this year. They're the only undefeated team left and playing really good ball.

A lot of these guys have played together on other NFL or college teams. Some of them stay close friends for life even when they go to different teams. I've heard that the entire Seahawks championship team stays in touch and even with family members. Richard Sherman said he still calls his old team mates' moms. Well everyone except Russell.

Usually the Mic’d up Individual Player during Prime-Time games…..It’s announced on Air prior to a big Game…so the player and the Fans watching on TV are aware. But the microphones in Helmets are used for coordination (when not on Air). Ray Lewis Mic’d up highlights is pretty cool! Some NBA players get Mic’d up for games too. Its always a fun day when they know their Mic is Live…theres some characters!

The Dolphin name sounds weak, but the dolphin animal is very smart and bigger and stronger what people think they are. Dolphins fight sharks. About 8 to 9 ft tall. The color aqua (greenish-blue) rep the aquamarine -turquoise ocean water & coral (orange) rep the sun/heat in South Florida. There are dolphins all over S Florida in the ocean, rivers & canals.

Only certain players are mic'd up and it changes every game. They wear a dot on their helmet to warn other players they have a mic. Some even tell them they are mic'd up. Check NFL Bad Lip Reading videos.

Each team mics up at least one player per game. They go around to the rest of the team pre game to tell them all they’re mic’d up so they can watch what they say 😂 Also the funny guy #55 is Brandon graham. Eagles fan favorite. The city of Philadelphia would welcome you with open arms were you to chose them as your team.

If I was in the NFL and mic’d up, I would eat 5 plates of re-fried beans the night before the game. It’s also a way to make opponents not wanna come near me, which tends to work out quite well in the game of football

It might have been said but most players have played for multiple teams over the years so they might have been a teammate of a player on the opposing team or been friends so they joke with the other players too.

I'd suggest you check out Kansas City Chiefs if you're looking for a team. Watch some highlights of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. But The Eagles are a great team too. You could also check out George Kittle, he's on the San Francisco 49ers and he's an amazing player.

bro watch the baltimore ravens they’ve been a consistent playoff team w/ a really loyal fan base for years. they are one of the most iconic NFL teams and have one of the best cultures across the league. Also have potential for a super bowl win in the next 5 years.

The tradition of players being mic'd up started in the 60's with NFL Films; a company started by a gentleman by the name of Ed Sabol. He and his son Steve first filmed the 1962 NFL Championship game. From there, the company started making documentaries, commercials, television programs for the NFL (although later expanded to other sports). Film crews would film all the games and then the film would be sent to NFL Films HQ in New Jersey to produce a wrap up of all the games played on Sunday (and later Monday) with highlights. Initially the film crews on the sidelines would film candid footage of the players, team supports, coaches and the refs. When microphones advanced so they could be placed on a player, they were mic'd up and the rest is history.
