Ceilings are always done first. Then walls. And lastly floors. It's so you don't need to worry about dirtying surfaces and making a mess

I saw people installing ceilings and using a huge gap, and I don't get why. You lose so much height for no reason. What if a taller person would want to live there? Anyways, this here is an awesome way to do it. Thank you for your tutorial

Sometime it’s best to leave the ceiling in place, especially in old houses. The joist above ceiling might not be level. The old ceiling also provides an acoustic quality.

Every British plasterboard video just uses normal Silver galvanized screws, every other part of the world uses Dark phosphated screws... why is that?

They are zinc. We use the black phosphate screws too.

jesus those joints would not be very stable and prone to cracking i’d bet. what if old mate above has a right ol’ time jumping about, those joints will crack
