With new evidence being presented that Edward V was actually exiled to the west country and lived out his life in peace, I take a look at what has been claimed in terms of the evidence for this.

With comparing the DNA from the bones found in the tower with the descendant from Elizabeth Woodville's sister, it sounds like they would be comparing mitochondrial DNA. You inherit your mitochondrial DNA from your mother. So with the descendant of Elizabeth Woodville's sister (as long as she and her sister have the same mother), if it is a family line from woman to woman through all those generations, her mitochondrial DNA should match those of the princes who were held in the Tower, if

Assuming they can still get a good sample from the bones it's possible

The opinion the bones found in the Tower should not be exhumed because it would only be done out of curiosity is a little disingenuous. Based on such beliefs, all of the British archeologist would be out of business. Archeologists are constantly digging up (exhuming) the bones of ancient , Roman, Pictish, Vikings, and early and late medieval humans and robbing them of all of their grave goods just out of curiosity (another term for research) all of the time…Why should the 500 year old bones of the skeletons found in the Tower be treated different from other human remains? Once all of one’s immediate relatives have been dead for several hundred years, the issue becomes one of research. Ultimately, what matters is that when a body is exhumed, the remains should be treated with dignity and respect, not because of any royal or noble status, but because they are the remains of a human(s), who once lived.

My view is not disingenuous because you don’t share it. I see no convincing argument beyond curiosity for the exhumation of children’s bones from their burial place in a consecrated place, where they were laid to rest. Archaeologist’s don’t purposely exhume, already laid to rest, bones because popular culture is curious about a particular unsolved mystery. In fact, most archaeology takes place, in this country at least, because of development and thankfully it is now a requirement for an archaeological survey and presence.

Margaret Beaufort Henry's mother was also in play for wanting and needing the young princes in the tower gone! From a long shot with still having some claim to the throne in the war of the roses! Once King Richard III was crowned only a big battle was in the way of her son becoming king! She had been a HUGE player in all of the war of the roses! So not only was Richard III a threat to the princes in the tower! The Percy have been in and around the crown for 500 years and still are to this day. So all things considered, there's more to the new findings than we take on board! I think that there was still bigger important people in play for the princes to help them without knowledge of other power players who stood loyal to the exiled Queen (the princes mother!) For the fact she had spies, she had ways and means of manipulating situations! The times they lived in the women were the biggest background game changers in this entire historical era! Queen Elizabeth Woodville could have arranged the princes' escape despite what the history narrative says! Margaret Beaufort is not innocent either and Richard III is also a suspect! The royal crown was up for the taking from so many different royalty candidates! And lives at stake so this whole new evidence SHOULD NOT BE DISSMISSED! More history research from all who was, could have been, and possible candidates should be seriously scrutinised and looked into! Documents, Diaries, correspondences dates times places and names as all was conspiracies, wars, battles, spies and so many countries, elite families and one English crown to be under questioning and much scrutiny!!! Nothing In history is as we are led to believe! Nothing is always a straight forward narrative! There was so many involved, so much change, battles, money, power, traiters, countries, decrepit and the British Crown! DNA the bones and put the historical narrative in a place of being g more right on some scientific hard facts! Whoever did kill them if it the princes remains will never be solved but we will know they never got away and that the bones are in the right place 🙏🇬🇧

He was Henry 7 brother in law, can you imagine his wife nagging forever, seriously, happy wife happy life, add to that the "prince" was alive and his bloodline was still royal family, would you rather be dead, or disappear and let your sister do the hard work

I believe it has to be down the female line because they use Mitochondrial DNA as well (which is always passed via the mother).

maybe there are rummors of a bust up, or rivalry between philippa gregory of the spanish princess, the white queen and various novels,, & philippa langley... the historian who found richard III in the car park, also the missing princes project and uncovering HENRY I as we already know, philppa gregory novels have gone worldwide... philppa langley reputation since richard III was found, and her profile has increased... maybe its rivalry of book writers... also seems, that every PHILIPPA in the UK, is finding out the history, on youtube or writing books... lol
