Full title reads: "Portsmouth. 'The Fleet Is In!" A sight to thrill every British heart as the grey ships of war - great & small - come to their home ports after Spring cruise."
Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Various shots of British Royal Naval warships coming in to port - possibly including HMS Warspite. (Some damage to film). Closer shot of name on HMS Nelson as she sails past - a Navy band playing on her aft deck. Another large warship comes in. Smaller ships comes past. Crowds wave from the docks.

No that's a QE, but I don't know which one. The R's always had a single funnel, due to less boilers. That is a trunked pair from the 20's refits to the QE's

@@dutchthespitfire3204Back in 31 the Weimar republic had practically no navy to speak of. Three panzerschiffe under construction (actually AGS not even keel laid), a couple light cruisers and two old linienschiffe + some bathtub sized vessels.

Still amazes how coyote ugly ships the Rodnoil and Nelsoil were. But true smashers when the target could not run, for a reason or another. Be it a crippled battleship or shore bombardment.
