In the opening wide view, there are both Nelson class battleships present plus at least 2 Iron Dukes in the distance. At 50secs a D class cruiser is seen sailing out. Both Iron Dukes are shown underway. The Iron Duke battleship shown in splendid close up sailing by from 1.50 is probably the Benbow (Its nameplate on the quarterdeck superstructure is indistinct but seems to say Benbow).

Must be Benbow, not enough letters for Marlborough or Emperor of India.

One could argue that the Royal Navy was at it`s best some time 1943-45?

The last part (ship's company pictured) gives you an idea of the human sacrifice when a capital ship such as Hood was lost.

The Fleet of England ? Isn’t it the Fleet of Britain?

Typically, RN capital ships on parade would fire their boilers to make them "pant"; a low, throbbing vibration that would rattle your coat and give you goosebumps.....

One could argue that the us navy was close, if not ahead. Both relied heavily on WW1 vintage, since the treaty limitations.

No Britain did. England didn’t have a navy if it’s own.
