I love remixes that are complex enough to sounds like it could have been an actual version of the song. There are remix tropes I find myself not being able to see past with most remixes. There are those rare remixes that few like a complete re working of the song and works perfectly and could be released to the general public. This feels very remixy to me. I don’t feel like this would ever have been played on the radio even in the 80s as a legitimate “version” of this song. This is clearly a remix 20 years after the original song came out. I love alternate versions of songs. This feels like a “ caricature” of an 80s song.

I need more variety in a remix. I feel like this remix (and a lot of your current 80s remixes) do not have enough progression or build up. They are very consistent from start to finish. I need something new to come in for the second verse after the first chorus and then I’m going to need a break down for the bridge and then go really hard on the last chorus. Idk I just feel like I can’t listen to that remix with out getting suuuuuuper bored half way threw. Great job though.
