Nice shes is singing it in her chest voice, and forward placement. No nasal projection, or twang to her tone. She has such a rich husky Alto-like tone to her voice. Very Toni Braxton meets Adele kind of vocal weight. I hope she does a midtempo ballad soon for her comeback. Dispite what people say, she clearlt can sing just need a coach to help her use her intrument to its full potential.

First off, for the doubters, these are definitely Britney's vocals. Britney has long been known by her fans to be a natural alto. Apparently when Max Martin got a hold of her, he and her team pushed a more marketable, pop sounding voice. This is the "baby voice" we're all used to hearing. If you listen to her vocals as a child and young teen, they are a match to this sample. 2nd, everyone has a different opinion on what is good or bad. I personally was surprised to see a lot of comments saying they didn't think her vocals were good here. I think they sound rich, powerful, fairly on-key and pleasant to listen to. She was just riffing in the studio apparently, so this was just for fun, and for being just for funsies, I think this sounded fantastic.

No, this is 100% Brittney Spears' voice! I have this thing that make me be able to play pretty much a level of piano just by ear, and i can 100% tell u this is indeed brittney Spears, but as i suspected she's been using her voice wrong and this is the outcome. It's all over the place, flat in parts and forced in others. If she doesn't go see a professional singing teacher like now, she'll get nodes on her vocal chords if that hasn't already happened, and the drugs wouldn't have helped either. Ur voice is a fragile thing u have to nurture it to make it grow. ❤❤❤

Screw Max Martin for doing what he did to her voice. At least his coworkers were kind enough to apologize and help Britney with her life! I don’t remember where, regrettably, but I saw she got vocal surgery to get her voice fixed after having to sing in a baby voice for so long. She can sing again, and she’s cut ties with her father, thankfully. BTW, I found out what her real vocal range is and always has been: C1-G#5 (she gained an octave after vocal surgery). TLDR: Britney didn’t deserve any of what she was forced into. If I were her lawyer, I’d sue Max Martin and Mr. Spears into frugality and expose the problems with the ethicality of certain record labels!
