I so remember being so jealous of our friends and acquaintances who were able to qualify for the government cheese blocks because they were so good!! They made the best grilled cheese sandwiches! I was always looking for someone who was willing to sell me some of their stash.

This was very interesting, but he was dead wrong at the end: Sure, you don’t have to convince people to eat cheese…but these dairy marketing efforts result in millions of pounds of additional consumption. Advertising works. He even contradicted himself by previously highlighting the success of the “Got Milk” ad campaign. Can’t have it both ways, you know?
