No doubt about it, Angelina is Incredible up to now. I can easily spend 4+ hours in a day listening to her covers! My hope is that as she matures that her voice won't change for the worse or that the music industry won't destroy her. She grew up in Norway and had a stable upbringing. She has now moved with her family to Los Angeles! I can only hope that she won't get lost in a superficial materialist lifestyle there!

@@McDevittMike Well, she is only 15. I don't expect any 15 year old to have written more than a few own songs.....the question is what her own ambitions and goals are for her career. Yes, either she will sing other people's songs or her own ones. I am not sure the first will happen - because in that case Republic would have already given her some material. My comment regarding Chart Music was that many artists there can neither sing as well as Angelina, nor do they write their own song. We always wonder what determines commercial success, and nowadays in isn't either of those qualities I think....

I was stunned to my bones when l heard this little girl channeling Billie Holiday. I've listen to Angelina everyday since. It's been an amazing journey with performances that have brought tears to this old man's eyes. I'm excited for her future but also a little worried of how the music industry treats her. In an interview at eight. She was ask about her first audition of Gloomy Sunday as to meaning of song. She stated she knew the meaning as she knows English very well. Actually English is her third language at this age she is speaking Norwegian, Persian And and English. There are videos at age five of her leading interviewer through her home showing her toys and clothes speaking English. She picks up a plastic toy guitar and states guitar not very good and starts singing Rolling In The Deep. Probably by now English is her second language. She speaks Norwegian, Persian, English, Swedish along with some Japanese. Her Grandmother is Iranian and Grandfather is Japanese on her Mother’s side who with her family spent many years in Japan. Her Mother and her Uncle speak fluent Japanese. When she was six she conversed with the little girl to whom she gave her shoes for nearly an hour in Persian while her Mother and Grandmother waited for her. Would you wait for your six year old child an hour in the cold.?

When Angelina Jordan starts singing nothing matters around you cause she'll take you to her musical world. Nice job, gentlemen! Angelina's family protected her from fame and all the negative things that can come from it early on. As for offers, she had a huge number of offers (including recording contracts) following her stint on NGT, but both she and her family wanted to wait. Her family wanted to wait until she had a "normal" childhood and completed her education and Angelina wanted to wait until she more fully developed her talent. One offer they did accept was performing at Quincy Jones' birthday celebration in O2 Arena in 2018. She said, at one point, that that was the highlight of her career up to then.

Hello guys. What a great reaction! And I have absolutely NO idea why I didn't see this one before now, as I have actually actively searched your videos play list for anything Aurora or Angelina. Or so I thought. It's wonderful to know that you now have watched all the stuff from the very beginning of her career. Sometimes it's necessary to know how something originated to better understand and appreciate the continuation. As you know, after she won this show, she released her cover of "I Put A Spell On You" at the age of 9. Then we didn't see very much from her until the period from she was almost 12, when she started pouring all those covers out, This period lasted to right after she turned 13. However, in between "I Put A Spell On You" and her "cover period" she made a studio recording at the age of 10, where she performed "I'm Still Holding Out For You". Because of circumstances not fully known by anyone (except those directly involved ofc), that performance was never released, but there is one "leaked" video out there. AND YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK THAT ONE OUT, because that is maybe her best performance of all time. Even her most dedicated and hard core fans seem to agree that that song is really something special. You will not be able to understand how a 10 year old girl can sound like that. And as you know, when talking about Angelina, that speaks volumes. So, this song is the missing link that you need to have heard before moving on with her IMO. Here is the link guys : kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqebnp15nZqcn6c Hold on tight. I loved BP1's energy in this one. Something definitely clicked :-) Please keep reacting to Angelina. In less than 5 years from now, that will give you immense bragging rights LOL Very much love from Norway :-)

OK you two, you got me. I LIKED and SUSCRIBED! Now you must watch her performance in the UK at 12 years old Performing at Quincy Jones request for his 85th birthday. She sang HIS original score of FLY ME TO THE MOON That Frank Sinatra recorded. Let that sink in. Then watch her play piano at 12 at home while singing HER rendition of Wicked Game. be sure to watch the one put together by a fan. The one her grandmother did just has random pictures of AJ. After these two you're on your own, but don't worry you can't go wrong.

I know it might be hard to believe or understand, but Angelina arranged all the songs except maybe for “Gloomy Sunday”, you can tell because of the tempo, she slows the songs down, even “Summertime” is done at her tempo and there are videos of the rehearsals where she is giving input to the musicians, that’s incredible and why she is a prodigy!

Not heard of her in GB? She performed in the London O2 Arena at the age of 12y for the 85 birthday party of Quincy Jones 2018 with the biggest symphony orchestra . They became best friends. She planned an own concert last year in London, but covid had arrested her since 16month. We are all waiting for her new album with own songs since months. Please react to the version of Fly me to the moon, she performed there, but there's only the rehearsal vid with the original sound

@johnvasi

Yes to everything you said, but a couple other comments: Angelina, even this young, gives us completely controlled vocals as she does today. She doesn’t need to show off her range or power when the song doesn’t call for it. Her arrangement and phrasing play with the cadence of Summertime just beautifully. It’s true jazz singing by an eight year old. You’ll find as you watch Angelina sing the same song through the years that her take on that song changes depending on the music behind her and her mood that day. She gives us true improvisational jazz. To see the best, most powerful 11 year old jazz singer you will ever see in your life: try “Lovin’ You” with Angelina at an outdoor concert. Just mind-blowing. Also, today you heard Angelina a cappella and with just a guitar. Her voice, then and now, is so on pitch, mesmerizing, and pure that it needs no special instrumentation. She is fearless before audiences because she has quiet confidence and wants to sing for us. There are so many examples, but just a couple suggestions: “A Million Years Ago”, or “Stay”, or “Someone Like You”. You’ll hear one of the most distinctive and beautiful voices you’ve ever heard.

This was an awesome reaction from you two. Thank you. I agree, the second song with no instruments was crazy. She is totally into the zone then transforms back to a little kid when done. Their were 10 finalists and she won with 46 or 47 percent of the votes. No contest. Each song it seemed like she got better and better. One of the judges said after the first song they thought it might be a fluke. Then they saw her take charge of the room in rehearsal and knew she was the real deal. For fun you guys should watch this with captions. The comments are great.

Thank you, gentlemen, for reacting to the complete set of Angelina's Norway's Got Talent performances. Your amazement mirrors that of the millions of us who have seen these hundreds of times. Your video is an excellent primer for those who are new to Angelina to see the roots of her unbelievable talent. Her accompanist on "Bang Bang" was Tommy Kristiansen, one of the premier guitarists in Scandinavia and Europe. He has accompanied her on several occasions. My favorite is when she sang "Every Time We Say Goodbye" in the style of Ella Fitzgerald from her 1956 hit albums, "Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Cole Porter Songbook". Angelina and Tommy performed on the rooftop of TV 2 in Oslo on the talk show "God Sommer Norge" (Good Summer Norway). The audio of that performance sounds like it was done in a recording studio and the video quality is beautiful. The purity of Angelina's voice is simply astounding, She was 11 years old. Totally different voice, Song for A, by the Russian composer Nico Cartosio on his semi classical album “Melting”, set to a poem by Robert Burns. The only vocal track on the album, specifically for Angelina to sing. The album was recorded at Abbey Road studios in London, and, I believe, by Angelina in LA. One of my favourites. I’d be really happy to hear what you two think of it. Thanks ❤️👣🎶

Aside from her obvious genius, the thing I love the most about her NGT performances are her teeth. She, of course, does all her own arrangements. That low register too. Never thought of it but "your daddy's rich and your ma is good lookin'" could describe Angelina. The first song was Gloomy Sunday aka The Suicide Song.

There is a video "Angelina Jordan I'm A Fool To Want You Remix" by 2.0.0.6 channel (she was born in 2006) with the original music put to her a cappella and it's amazing how on pitch and on time she is. It's like she has a recording in her head!! She did this song again at 11 years old for her first album "It's Magic". It's "I'm A Fool To Want You, Studio Version" and she is in a booth recording it for the album. It's even more incredible how she channels Billie Holiday. Angelina loves James Bond stuff and she did perform "Diamonds Are Forever" Proysenfestival 21.07.2017 at 11 years old and you'll be blown away. Her original song "Shield" at 12 years old could easily be a Bond song. Thanks guys, I'm really enjoying your reactions and not only to Angelina btw.
