My favorite scene was when Blanche was telling about the Christmas Eve when she went to a dance with one fellow, then met another guy with whom she went somewhere else, where she met another guy…at which point Dorothy exploded with “Blanche! I could get HERPES listening to this story!” 😂

Fun fact.... the lady who played Blanche on "Golden Girls", Rue McClanahan, also played Blache on "Blue's Clues". Which Blanche is Steve & Joe's grandmother on the show.

They were all fabulous at their craft - timing, movement, reactions - you can tell they love their own characters. Rue acting and moving like a novice actress in the audition scene is so artful. That whole episode is madcap.

Not sure why you two are so intent on scoffing at Blanche's sexuality due to her age. Her character was in her mid 50s, you both are at least in your late 40s and I'm sure you fancy yourselves as having a tiny sliver of sexuality remaining.
