Fun fact: some MLB trades literally happen during the game, so some players will get pulled out the game mid-game to get told they’ve been traded. There’s compilations of it happening on KZbin

Some of the interesting ones are when they get traded to the team they’re playing at the time and they have switch club houses lol

Probably the craziest potential group-up in history was the T-Mac/Grant Hill/Tim Duncan trade to Orlando (in 2001?). ALL THREE were on the rise and superstars in the making (of which two got there, and Hill got injuries before his true prime). The deal was basically set until good ol' Doc Rivers, who was head coach at the time, denied Tim Duncan the ability for his family to travel by plane with him. Such a trivial problem led to the demise of the Magic until a much later time. Tracy McGrady stayed single in Orlando and found no success. Duncan went on to be a part of probably the greatest dynasty and system in NBA history, and Hill got injured severely multiple times and his career was reduced to good role player/serviceable starter for the vast majority of his 18 year career. I personally think the KG/Kobe link-up would've produced the most success and would've worked the best. KG was better than Pau Gasol in every way to various extents, and KG had that legendary dog in him like Kobe, and would've let Kobe run the show for the most part and allowed Kobe to do his thing, all the while KG would command more respect on the floor with Kobe and be a vocal leader. That would've been absolutely filthy for them two to be on a team with a solid supporting cast. Kobe and KG would have more titles, certainly KG.

The Kobe and CP3 2011 trade veto is easily one of the most infamous in the league's history, Kobe has just won back to back and CHRIS PAUL was incredibly close to joining ...

Charlotte wasn't bamboozled by the Lakers - he announced before the draft he wouldnt play with any other team except the Lakers so no one should draft him. Charlotte drafted him anyway thinking it was s bluff.

Iverson is maybe 6'. I ran into him in Nassau years ago right when he blew up in the league. I'm 6'1", maybe 6'2" in trainers, he was definitely shorter than me. I was a little intimidated because he had a huge entourage with him, including some huge guards. He was very nice, though. He was walking through the lobby at the Atlantis resort heading outside and the weirdest thing is he had on some big puffy coat and all that. It was early August and hot as balls outside but I guess fashion before comfort.

In the early 2010s, the NHL owned the Arizona Coyotes, or Phoenix Coyotes for a little bit for the same reason the NBA owned the Hornets.

It's the same thing with Curry or even Klay on the Kobe thing. Some people want Curry to leave... a lot think Warriors should move on from Klay, I just don't see a light of them in different teams Jerseys. I honestly think they would rather retire than leave Golden State. We never seen a championship duo be on one team for this long. 10+ years is insane.

Touching on your points at the end of the vid, you guys should check some Caleb Williams highlights. He's expected to go Number 1 to the Bears who were 7-10 last season. They got the pick because they made a trade with the Panthers for Bryce Young, and Carolina was terrible. It's a rare situation where a top player in the draft doesn't have to play for one of the dregs of the league. Surely people might be asking "What if" 10 years from now if Caleb Williams turns out to be as great as he's being hyped. It's a situation worth keeping your eye on.

owned by the league should never happen, put a price on the potential franchice from the start, or just dont bring a team to a city with out an owner. seattle has and had great owners before they lost their team... vegas, plenty of ownership options in the US. phil knight has been wanting to buy the blazers and everyone here wanted him too but paul allen passed.... and his wife is not willing. idk. but theres no way drexler, MJ ever would have played together. drexler war the "air" before jordan. hints the name clyde "the glide" drexler. they were a similar player. both wouldnt work.
