This is a song dedicated to her husband that died from cancer. It was if I remember correctly around 2008 but she still writes songs to him. He was, basically, the only one she has truly loved. She talks to him in this song. And there's a lyric that says that she still hopes to see his face somewhere again. I'm not her fan but this song makes me cry everytime. Especially now when there's a lot of wives that will never see their husbands again.

Loved the whole production. Tina has a very powerful voice, full of emotion and gravitas. Even though I didn't understand the language, I liked the cadence. Know nothing about her, but I'd listen to more.

Tina Karol is an outstanding singer and like you I have had the privilege to watch her live in Odessa!! Totally loved her time in the Voice and Voice kids!! I think her greatest achievement was Oleksandr Klymenko. One of my favs of hers is Више облаков (above the clouds) but there are so many more to choose from!!

So sorry that judges could not understand the magic of Ukrainian song with very specific conjunction of emotions, words, accents in voice and music. Some things you can not understand if don't know the language and the culture of particular nation, especially Ukrainian.

A very powerful and accomplished vocalist, I've seen quite a few of her performances and she's very good. As you say she's been a judge on the Voice for a few years now and is a big star in her neck of the woods. In her younger days similar in style to Shakira.

You seemed a little surprised too; I think you were right in think she bears checking out a little more.
