If such a thing is a "movement" on social media, chances are really good it was started as a joke. I remember joking with my friends when I was in the service that Idaho didn't exist, that people from Washington and Montana just moved in from time to time to harvest potatoes.

Regarding the two news orgs, he is most likely referring to Fox News and MSNBC. MSNBC is farther to the left than CNN is.

MSNBC is pro-war and pro-g**cide. It hires on air personalities who are former CIA. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the left.

MSNBC was considered left because they reported what happened. From Joe Scarborough on up, the channel is heavily right wing and bending the knee. This is true especially in the morning and afternoon blocks.

MSNBC's ratings have fallen off 37% since Trump was elected. The only reason people watched in the first place was because they hated Trump (as did MSNBC) and it was "all Trump all the time" on that network. Now NBC News has cut them loose so they'll soon be a name change for them. Their future is bleak.

The U.S education system has been severely criticized, but when studies are designed using proper methods that compares similar samples the outcome differences are generally based on the language demands that serving millions of immigrants creates. When you compare U.S immigrant non-english speaking students to Finland's for example .... the U.S schools out rank Finland's.

The whole world is one massive stereotype. We all think a certain way about many things and often times we're wrong. The United States looks at many countries through a specific lens as do other countries when looking at us. I know what many people from other countries say about us in that we're not smart, we're all fat, we eat nothing but fast food or whatever else but I also know not everyone outside of the U.S. thinks like this. It is what it is.
