I'm getting my sisterlocks installed next month and I've been studying your videos which are EXTREMELY helpful. On new sisterlocks you said no products but is rosewater alright to use. Also, after using the starter shampoo should I continue to use a clarifying shampoo. I love using Trader Joe's Tea Tingle shampoo and would like to continue to use it.

Congratulations!!! Rose water may not be okay, only because I'm not sure of your loctician would want that. It's best to ask her first because all you should do is just shampoo your hair and wash it out when you're getting your install...afterwards then spritz your hair with rose water.

So I have a Question I went to my consulting and she gave me my starter kit so do I need to wash my head with it before getting the installation ? because I still have my test locs in my hair ... I think that's what you said in the third tip?

No you wait until your hair is locd before you use that

my install is set for this Thursday the fourth. I just dyed my hair black using henna then indigo yesterday Monday. i deep conditioned after. I'm planning to wash my hair Wednesday night using my regular head n shoulders for textured hair so I'm flake free for the install. can I deep condition Wednesday night before my install Thursday am. my hair gets pretty dry n brittle after washing. I wouldn't want to have breakage or a sore head during parting.
