Brittany Ferries SALAMANCA tour

A2B via Sea made this film of Brittany Ferries vessel Salamanca whilst on passage between Portsmouth UK and Cherbourg France.
Predominantly deployed on the Portsmouth to Bilbao Spain route, once a week she operates to Cherbourg to undertake a crew change.
Facilities are located on Decks 7 and 8 with exterior decks located on decks 7 through to 10.

Modern ferries really interest us, and the ways that ferry companies have, in recent times, made them more modern, stylish, and focused on a 'positive passenger experience' (as no doubt the phrase is in the boardrooms of these companies) This was really interesting to see. Would certainly consider a sailing to Bilbao on that ship.

Hi. I would consider a trip to Spain on this ship however, I would bring my own entertainment and only travel during hot weather so I can relax on deck with a cold beer lol

Great video and lovely ship although I would of needed a cabin for the overnight mission and my own space so fair play to you for doing it that way 🙌 it must of felt strange when the whole shop was in bed 😂

Hi Rocky. Thanks for watching! Lol yes, I should have had an actual cabin but on this occasion I was on a budget. To be fair though, the reclining seats were comfortable and there are luggage racks within the room and a secure luggage room by reception on deck 7. Nice and new, I really like some of the decor and furniture but I still can't help but feel these new ships are a little soulless in their design. Just not the same character as the old Brittany Ferries fleet.
