Cherbourg to Rosslare on Brittany Ferries Salamanca! & Our first impressions of Ireland!

Hello everyone!
We are back with the first video of our Ireland series!!! This video is slightly different to our usual style of videos as we take you on board the Brittany Ferries Salamanca! We wanted to show you around the ship and show you our cabin as we make the crossing to Ireland which is somewhere neither of us have ever been before!
The crossing was a bit rough but the ship was very well equipped and the cabins were comfortable. When we arrive in Ireland bright and early we set off to explore the Wicklow Mountains National Park! We see beautiful forests, spectacular scenery, amazing waterfalls and one of the best park ups EVER! We are so excited to see what else Ireland has in store for us!

There's a beast in those wicklow mountains. Myself and a woman I was dating at the time had to retreat very quietly and "quickly" back to our car after a visit. We were definitely being stalked by something big and evil sounding. It was like something from a movie. I'll never forget it. At first, she thought it was me messing around. Whatever it was scared the life out of us.

When you drive into the ferry and it looks like the mouth of a giant beast, I think 'should this thing really float?'. Probably best not to think abou it frankly!! Lovely vid, nice ship!

Don't forget you are asleep for about 8 hours.

Still cheaper and faster than going via UK. Why? No customs hassle. Driver can do full days work before boarding. Once on-board, the tacho stops. So no mandatory 10 hour stop like going via UK. You should have had breakfast on the boat. Food is Fab.

Looking forward to this, seen a little bit of the places that you will likely be visiting so might bring back some memories: Kenmare, Shannon, Galway, Sligo. And the video ruled out Mitch being Banksy so that’s one less person on the list 😂

There was no immigration in and out ? What documents do you to crise with your private vehicle?

From France to Ireland was very very easy for us! Literally just show your passports and that’s all!
