Thanks for a lovely vlog. For nail varnish I think you'd probably want the base coat from a french manicure. A coat or two gives nails a nice healthy colour without being opaque. All brands do them, Rimmel does a good one.

That Dior one base coat is GREAT, I struggled with a nude there-but-not-really colour for ages too, and this one was the best I found. One coat, easy, kinda like a BB cream for your nails. Also really nice with a coat of that nail glow one also from Dior!

Nail polish tip: Essie Mademoiselle. Don't get scared by the pink when you see it in the bottle, when you put it on your nails it's just a healthy natural tone, not pink/not white. I think it will look nice with your skin tone. Loved the video as always.

I agree, Essie Mademoiselle is now my only nail polish I use! As mentioned, the color is just right between pink and white, so beautifully highlight the natural color of nails! And it also last long🤍

On the topic of nail polish: I really like „Sugar Daddy“ by Essie (way more pink but still really sheer) as it looks less stark on my nails than the more white ones. The Dior Abricot Base Coat is lovely indeed! Anna Newton got me hooked on it in combination with the Dior Nail Glow.

Hi Brittany. I'd suggest to try Catrice More Than Nude Nail Polish in the color 10 "Cloudy Illusion"- luminous finish looks like gel nail, sheer off-white color; & 07 "Nudie Beautie" - beige, very natural looking color. If you have any ridges on the fingernail, those will be layered nicely without leaving strips after application. Nail Polish stays up to a week on your nails. You would love them. Pls let me know your thoughts if decide to buy.

Nail polish - I recommend to try Essie 'mademoiselle' it is a little bit pink with thicker layer, other option which I use a lot is mixing 2 different shades: first layer 'ballet slippers' and next 'sugar daddy' :) this gives a little bit on cover but it gives nice natural shade :)

Cirque Colors nail polish in the shade Chiffon is exactly right for a natural, blurred nail color. I find that Essie Ballet Slippers is too opaque and too white.

I have tried many nail polishes and so far Londontown brand is the best. Stays on especially well when you top it with their gel top coat (but also without). Good no-polish polishes are "Invisible crown" and "cheerio". They have extremely good red nail polish selection as well. Despite to the name, they are an american brand, so maybe it is good to take a look at them when in NY?

Looking at your skin, I'd say you would need a nail polish that is either more ivory based or pink. I would suggest Opi's 'Put it in Neutral' or 'You're Full of Abalone'. The latter is not very sheer but it is a nice subtle colour all the same.

I HIGHLY recommend STATIC NAILS: coconut and soft glow for sure. There polish remover and top coat are some of the best I have tried. They are currently having a black friday promotion. Also, they have way less chemicals than ESSIE, OPI, DIOR, CHANEL. My nails never feel brittle or unhealthy when I wear them.

Catrice nail gloss is my absolute go to when I want that natural but polished look on my nails. It has a tiny bit of sheen, though. If you want something with a cream finish maybe you should check the french manicure polishes, they're always translucent, I like Kiko, they have a more pinky one and an apricot shade.

Hi Brittany! I have had similar struggles with finding a "your nails but better" nail polish. However, I think I found a good one! It's OPI in the colour Bare my soul. I apply only one coat, and then I put a top coat to finish, and it gives my nails a very clean look, like a just got a manicure. It's not too pink, or too beige, maybe it will suit you too! Xxx

I really love all the few second shots of beautiful skies and rain and birds and trees 🌿 re: your quest for a good healthy nails varnish - I also really struggle with anything a bit pinky or beige (I have neutral undertones that shift more warm/more cool throughout the year) so I use the Nailberry strengthening base coat just as a varnish now. Its white in the bottle but when its on your nails it just makes them look really shiny and polished and the very very slight white colour just brightens the nail up. Kind of feels like that whole 'your lips but better' vibe but for nails :) hope that helps!
