The fact that Hozier will most likely watch this video in bed tonight is so funny, and just imagining him reacting to the "I CANT MOVE TO IRELAND" jokes have me wheezing.

The fact that this has no replies means that the 2,000 people who liked this comment knew exactly what you meant and I just-😂 Or that they watched a good chunk of the video before going through comments which is just wildddd ‘cause that kind of attention?? In this economy??? Ugh so nice.

@@abyblue7287pretty funny cause I graduated from high school and didn’t make a single new friend until I was 25 years old and the main joke we make between ourselves is that we wear diapers. It’s so dumb and our boyfriends hate it. I’m 32 and and she just made the joke again yesterday.

This is a prime example of why it is so magical when a true fan of an artist gets the opportunity to interview them. You can tell that Brittany didn’t just want to get to know his art, but also to get to know him. That results in such a deep and rich interview. Fantastically done Brittany.

You really did your homework in a deep way and I’m willing to bet that he was sorry to say goodbye because he felt seen. This entire interaction is funny and genuine. I’m super curious how he feels about being seen as a role model or symbol of what a “good man” should look like for millions of young people, and whether the pressure to be good and unproblematic ever feels oppressive to him. As someone with major anxiety but also a deep seated love for conversation, I adore and appreciate Brittany’s ability to balance humor, depth, and personability to her interviews! Bestie is winning. 😭🙂❤

"Dont be too nice to me or I will pee in my diaper." We love a commanding, yet vulnerable Queen. What a way to start. Honestly thats why her Interviews are so good, even if she is shaking and crying on the inside, she plays it off so cool like "Hey, yea could you do that? Thanks." Brittany only crumbles after the footage is RECORDED. Yup.

Brittany has the art of interviewing down. Start out easy and steady to break the ice, dive deep into a subject theyre passionate about, and then end easy and light. He opened up and by the end they were chatting like friends!

There is such a lovely EASE to this interview. He seemed very very comfortable to speak freely, and Brittany's questions were so so thoughtful. You can tell she put a lot of work into choosing what to ask, and had great points also. A really good conversation to watch!

They say people should never meet their idols. In my case, I know who would be good to meet, and who wouldn't. Save myself from disappointed. Some musicians I've liked, I know would not be ones I could deal with, personally.

Flowers to Brittany. She doesn't miss. She's so much more than just "the funny girl from that meme". This is such a great interview with authenticity, humour and comfort that you don't see on the usual celeb interviews on talk shows. I'm always excited to see our Broski spread her wings further and take us in that journey

This was SO WELL DONE! Brittany coming into the interview immediately with a sense of humor with poking fun at herself and then poking a little fun at the “handsome squidward incident” relieved the tension early on and set the rest of the interview up for success for the rest of the video by allowing both of them to feel more comfortable opening up. And the way brittany could connect with hozier on more niche topics opens up opportunities for more intellectual conversations at some points. Seriously so so so well done!

What an excellent fucking interview, dude. There’s such an odd mix of emotions swirling around in my soul rn-pride in Broski Nation’s masterful leader and her top tier social/interpersonal skills, smugness that I had zero doubt that this would be so successful, and hopefulness that President/Emperor/Commander Broski snags more opportunities like this. Eyes wide shut, hands off the wheel, fam ✨

I keep rewatching this interview bc it’s SO GOOD. Brittany is a master of knocking people’s guard down and building instant rapport - and it’s bc she’s so funny and not afraid to make the jokes most interviewers would shy away from. You can tell Hozier sinks into this convo with the ease of a friend bc the stuffiness and pretense of most interviews is just not there at all. A masterpiece.
