This was SO WELL DONE! Brittany coming into the interview immediately with a sense of humor with poking fun at herself and then poking a little fun at the “handsome squidward incident” relieved the tension early on and set the rest of the interview up for success for the rest of the video by allowing both of them to feel more comfortable opening up. I’ve been following Andrew for most of his career and I can say truthfully that I’ve never saw him SO passionate talking about something he loved so much. You absolutely DID THAT. What a queen.

What an excellent fucking interview, dude. There’s such an odd mix of emotions swirling around in my soul rn-pride in Broski Nation’s masterful leader and her top tier social/interpersonal skills, smugness that I had zero doubt that this would be so successful, and hopefulness that President/Emperor/Commander Broski snags more opportunities like this. Eyes wide shut, hands off the wheel, fam ✨

his philosophical stance on religion and how he incorporates that into such amazing lyrical ballads genuinely is beyond words. he is just so wise. you asked such great questions brittany! you really picked his brain and his responses were very touching.

Right? He said he was more eloquent in writing than in speech but boy did this conversation just give me even more appreciation for his thought process and how or why he uses it... It speaks to me

I literally have a degree in analyzing literature and this interview is SO FUCKING PERFECT. These are the same questions I would've asked Hozier about his art. What I wouldn't give to sit in a room with the two of you and talk. ❤

This interview is the bomb. Both parties were so relaxed, honest and they were having such a great time, which I really enjoyed. Andrew's interviews are always so intelligent and from the heart. I just hope that there are more to come!

I minored in classical studies (Greek and Roman) and hearing him talk about Ovid, the oracle at Delphi, the illiad, the odyssey was just wonderful. He’s the one man I think can truly appreciate how much history makes my bones ache

17:15 I can't imagine how she was feeling in this moment. Imagine not only getting to speak to your ideal, but also hearing them say how invested they are in the conversation!! Like, you can tell he's enjoying the interview, but to outright say it! That's SO awesome, I'm so incredibly happy for Britney!!!

You spoke about how Andrew undervalues his work, but I think you do to! You're humor has brightened so many lives, including mine! You're one of the most intelligent, funny, and kind people on the internet right now, and everything you do touches someone who needs it. Thank you for continuing to exist, I am glad to have been born in the perfect timeframe to be on Earth with you. I love you, fearless leader, Queen Brittany of House Broski! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!

BRITTANY my girl. Everything happens for a reason, you went viral so you could have this platform to treat people like people. You are so intelligent and well-versed. You do your research and you actually give a shit about the opportunities you are given. You deserve all the success you have received and more. LOVE YOU OUR HUMBLE QUEEN

I keep rewatching this interview bc it’s SO GOOD. Brittany is a master of knocking people’s guard down and building instant rapport - and it’s bc she’s so funny and not afraid to make the jokes most interviewers would shy away from. You can tell Hozier sinks into this convo with the ease of a friend bc the stuffiness and pretense of most interviews is just not there at all. A masterpiece.

The way Brittany is just the embodiment of joy and light and hope. Through every moment and every video and every event, she continues to share herself fully and invest in her work, and GIVES US the opportunity to watch it all. Theres no amount of words to describe the admiration and appreciation felt for Brittany. Thank you for all that you do and all that you continue to do for the world. Love you Captain President General Leader Sir!

The way you managed to not scream-cry into his face or vomit on him is so unreal. But seriously I teared up through this whole thing knowing how important he is for you and how thoughtfully and beautifully you handled this. Clearly, he’s obsessed with you now too, as he should be. Broski Nation is packed and ready to move to Ireland.
