I get frustrated from the mess from others (especially when I cleaned it and it's messy again in few hours time) so I just isolate myself in my room cuz it's clean and my comfort space also I had just like you at first a lot of stuff hanging around and it really helped me to keep it tidy to be less mad and frustrated and have a comfort space to go to

Thank You for being so honest. Lately when watching cleaning decluttering videos I see that a lot of youtubers say they like cleaning, and then I feel bad that I don't, so thank you for for making this so relatable. I've cried while cleaning before too.

i resonate with you so much brittany, like i hate cleaning so much, it overwhelms me and tires me out. I remember i watched one of your videos, where you talked about how much you disliked cleaning and i just felt like i could totally relate to you. cus i watch all these videos of people who love and enjoy to clean, who find cleaning therapeutic and calming and i’m like howww?😂 it’s such a struggle eveytime i meant to clean my room today, i’ve been pushing off cleaning it but i couldn’t do it. its so refreshing to see someone with nice things but that's also calling themselves a hoarder/ struggles to be tidy/ hates tidying because I am SICK of only being able to relate to people with stuff they hate / extreme hoarding (no hate to anyone struggling with real hoarding issues). Like I have nice stuff an the potential to have a nice home I just hate tidying / am 'lazy'... or on the other extreme the houses are pristine with like 5 items out of place and they say 'huge declutter/deep clean' and its just someone cleaning an already show room looking home love. the energy in this video

I felt the same way my whole life, found out I have ADHD and that’s what did it, so found an app where you put in your individual cleaning tasks and areas and it makes it into a spinning wheel, so I spin it and get a random task and I just have to focus on that one instead of everything and it’s helped so much!!

You're probably never going to see my comment, but I see that you have a pretty large space to work with for the few last months. I think you made the same choice that I made when I was in school and had a huge room as an appartment, which is to put furniture mostly along the walls. I think the L shaped space around your door, that leads toward your bathroom and that wraps in front of your wardrobe makes it tricky. But I'm pretty sure you could "create" a L shaped corridor and define a new corner in your room near the center :) You got lots of options, but I wanted to suggest that so that you are less bored about your place. You shouldn't wait to move out for 10months ❤ I am going through the same frustration towards clutter and organizing. I feel you, I sometimes just enter my room and watch around me and sob a little. Good luck to you, with everything ❤

I know that this is not as easy for everyone, but the best way to not getting to the point where the mess is so big you just want to cry, is by trying to keep things in a specific place as soon as you’re done using them. If you let things start piling up, there’s no end. Maybe you can hire someone to help you keep things in place weekly or biweekly. Personally I love cleaning, it makes me feel sane and at peace, I have a place for everything and that helps me remember where things are, always put things back in place and fold/hang my clothes right away after I didn’t used it or just washed it. These actions help me keep order. I feel like having a nice clean space helps me have a clearer mind. Good luck. 🍀

Your not alone in being angry. For me and my depression I am extremely angry or irritated and I feel horrible after being in that state. It’s a work in progress but anyways right now I’m also In the stages of cleaning my depression room and it’s hard and overwhelming. But taking breaks as much as needed to push through is how to get it done.

@effiesharif5383 Жыл бұрын
@@brittanyngia ngl the first few weeks was just me wondering if things were gonna get any better, the first 1-2 weeks were moderately to considerably more rough. And this past week I felt like for the first time in a really really long time I got the pep back in my step/my little sparkle back. Full transparency though everyone has different opinions experiences, I had a bad experience with Zoloft but Lexapro has been that GORL for me. I definitely was super against it for the past 1.5 years trynna raw dog my way through things, & I regret not just being more open to my options. Meds could’ve helped regulate my anxiety/depression and adhd significantly sooner.
@effiesharif5383 Жыл бұрын
@@brittanyngia Also no to mellowing my happy moods, I have PMDD so my moods are kind of everywhere for 2-3 weeks/month. And I realized I’m much happier not feeling so emotionally volatile/disregulated. Ideally, it’s not forever, but even if it is I think I’m more at peace with that now in comparison to even a month or a year ago.

If you truly hate cleaning and it gives you great amount of stress, consider looking to a minimalism lifestyle. It will help to approve your life in so many ways.. physically, mentally, financial. You will feel so much more lightweight and free and feel less stress and overwhelmed. The more a person owns, the more those possessions own that person❤
@stefslyfe Жыл бұрын
Not to minimize your feelings, but take those stressors and add a spouse and all of their issues, and kids, and a job that you HATE and you get adulthood. Most of us aren’t fortunate enough to not have bills and live with our parents so we go through life in this sort of state of being unfulfilled and under appreciated, but as is life, we get through it. Best wishes to you though and hope you feel better❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you feel overwhelmed while cleaning, it might be a sign you own too much! The most effective way to consistently keep a space clean and organized is to declutter your items to fit your space. Going through your least used items in the back of closets or bottom drawers can be a good way to start seeing what you don't really need.
