I totally get that - I'm the same! If it gets really bad I invite someone over - I feel like I can't motivate myself for me but for someone else or the shame I feel when they see my mess is a bigger motivation. Maybe that helps! Hope you get through it! It's hard living in a space with depression

Why do I love watching someone declutter & clean- I’m always doing the same while I watch😉. Your kitties are just adorable- so helpful! That little bookcase couldn’t have fit in that spot any better- perfect idea! I’m Decluttering my art studio …. again. It’s a constant thing- my studio is in a small room and every time I get new supplies I sort through the old. I’m glad you are better after your oral surgery- dry socket is no joke!!!

i appreciate this and ++ to it being calming, but as someone in their early 30s let me just say to other folks watching this - it's okay to have a messy ass room from time to time, especially when the rest of your life is too much. its ok to rest and get through whatever you need to get through. it's also ok to ask for help - so in this case asking your friends to help clean your room or get you some food. tbh asking for help is something i struggle with big time and learning a little at a time

I make little labels and write on them DATE I put that thing into closet/shelf/box and if I take that thing and use I write like 1 2 3 4 numbers of times I used it since I have it. If I dont use it even once in 2 years I just give it away to someone who needs it more ❤

This was great. If you don't mind can I share some tips. Like if you make a shoe rack near the main door of your home and keep all the shoes there then a lot of space will be there in the closet. Also you can buy a yoga mat bag and place it inside the closet. ❤

I would hang the headbands and also maybe the scrunchies as well. Maybe just tie them to the wire basket or get small hooks. I always get so overwhelmed trying to select a hair tie from a pile and when I am taking one the other falls down... And, it was definitely uncomfortable, especially when the swelling was bad (tbh it felt like a headache, just in my face instead of my skull if that makes sense??) but it's not awful at all - the only reason my recovery took so long was because I got dry socket, which is uncommon!! Hi! I was wondering if you use that windows laptop to edit, and what software do you use? I’m just curious because I have a MacBook that is dying and I was thinking about changing systems. Your room is really cute and I enjoyed watching you clean!

Thank you!! And, I use a windows Surface Studio laptop. It's a model with the i7 core & NVIDIA graphics card (which I only mention because that could make a difference in terms of power). She definitely gets hot when I'm editing (I use Premier Pro), but I've never had a straight up crash and it only rarely lags or stutters. I adore this computer, it folds back into a (very thick) tablet and comes with a pen, which is super useful for graphics and digital art. Its only draw backs are A) she's pricey and B) the battery life is pretty short, it lasts a day doing light stuff but I do basically need to charge it continuously when I'm doing heavy stuff like editing.
