The only time they kind of established where the The Next Step is actually located is when they arrived at internationals and Kate said all the North American studios registered the day later which is why they all had an extra day off which was the episode where Riley and Ella ate at the spanish restaurant

And i found it really strange that at internationals and bangers and mash ups that they avoided saying what country. Every other team was mentioned by country, but theyre always The Next Step. lol

The "where is tns" thing is a constant battle in my mind. I remember at internationals they announce the country of all the other studios but never the country the next step is representing. I just assume it's in Canada because thats where it is filmed and a lot of other countries were named at internationals (eg it can't be England because they were with tns at internationals)
