Most of the S7 A Troupe carried over from Season 6 (except for the people who left) and the B Troupe cast is new so we've never seen them audition for A Troupe rather than Alternates

Myles (Noah) until he left in season six was a lyrical dancer who did have a bit of hip-hop but was was mainly lyrical and technique focused and was a massive character in the show like he was even dance captain

i mean, technically Kingston and Ozzy are the 2 most technical male dancers. Kingston knows a lot of styles and is probably the best male contemporary dancer on the team, whereas Ozzy is also technical, but he has his own personal style as well... that's just what i think

READ The b troupers didn’t get to audition because it was all the same dancers who won regionals but Jaquie and Noah left and then Amy came back from acronation and Lilly came back too then they had a full team they didn’t do the challenge like they did in season 2 hope that helps Britt!!!

piper and finn have this dynamic that you don’t know about because well you ship amy and finn. So let me recap it for you. Finn used to have a HUGE crush on piper. He would constantly ask her out she always said no. Basically the emily and eldon dynamic in the beginning of season 1. Anyways, finn finally gave up on asking her out, piper let him in more. They became really close and their is still some lingering feellings/ chemistry with them.

Hehe lemme explain to you the whole Finn/Amy/Piper drama. Piper was really insecure during season 6, for various reasons and she also had a fallout with one of her guy friends (in season 5) because she liked him, so she promised to herself that she would just focus on dance for that competitive season, so when Finn liked her and asked her out she always said no. Piper was dealing with anxiety and her mental health all season long and since Amy wasn’t there for her, she and Finn became close friends. So that’s why nobody really ships Finn and Amy and you’ll see how this storyline develops in the future episodes.Also Amy and Henry kinda had a thing last season but it didn’t work out so he got with summer, so she was like a rebound for him to get over Amy. If you go to "The Next Step Wiki" online, you can find a list of every dance style featured on the show along with all previous and current characters who dance each style. There are no male Lyrical dancers on the show but Daniel, Eldon, Jake, Marcus, Noah, and Ozzy were/are considered male Contemporary dancers.

The people who auditioned for alt this season weren't here for season 5 auditions for A-troupe. Between seasons 5 & 6 A-troupe lost a few members and in 6 they added Summer, Kenzie, and Finn and they just were put on the team. The team was already set and so that's why they only auditioned for alternates.

There weren't any auditions for a Troup this season. That had 8 dancers that were on the team in season 6 and Amy came back from Acro Nation. Lilly auditioned for the last spot. Then were the alternate auditions.

Cleo was new to the season, so she never auditioned for A troupe before. Ozzy came onto A troupe in season 5 from J troupe, and his arch nemesis was Heathcliff. But Heathcliff never auditioned for A troupe. I think he went to B troupe, but I'm not sure. Also, there was this dancer called Elliot in season 5/6 who was a ballet dancer and very technical, and I think Noah was quite based on ballet, kinda similar to Eldon. By the way, your reactions to these episodes are literally so funny. i love it.
