Her whole, “pay equity” thing is ludicrous. The WNBA is only worth $60 million, and wouldn’t exist had the NBA not bailed them out. The NBA is worth $10 billion. This is why there’s such a huge disparity in pay. If the WNBA starts bringing in the same amount of money as the NBA, I’m fairly certain, the players will get the same kinds of contracts NBA players get.
@onark7779 ай бұрын
The WNBA is worth 200 million She, like most WNBA players, are asking for pay "equity". Not pay equality. This means they want a similar cut of the WNBA revenue that NBA players get from NBA revenue. NBA players get 50% of revenue while WNBA players get 10% of revenue.

It’s a mistake almost anyone could have made. I know need to follow the laws of countries are visiting. I have traveled as solo female a great deal and always try to at least look up info regarding my destination, but I’m sure I didn’t always and/or may have just glanced. And still a chance could have broken a law without doing so intentionally. I was in Singapore for a connection and was nervous as even chewing gum in public was unlawful and the punishments there were severe. What BG describes sounds hellacious. Yes it’s Russian law and in their country but 9 years for small amount of THC oil to be done in such a severe prison is terrifying. I don’t follow basketball, but watching an interview with Brittney gave me the impression she is an extremely decent human who made a mistake and she has handled this with amazing grace. There were those criticizing the trade, and they are entitled to their opinion. What is NEVER necessary is nasty humans using it to spew their vile words and hate. What people should be most upset about is that so many individuals think such nasty things and enjoy spreading it. It is tragic Paul Whalen was also not released and that an arms dealer was who was exchanged. Yes scale is off. A young woman who had two cartridges in suitcase is not even close to an arms dealer. The crimes were not compatible. That is not the trade decent ethical government would make but of course those without decency will always do such things. If upset about the trade that would be the reason to possible be. Not a personal attack. Once again those of no character, who just bath in the excrement of hatred, use anything to voice their filth. Those type disgust me but also I pity in a way. How empty, how devoid of any decency or light inside are they that this is what they enjoy doing. Don’t need any conviction or really care about the actual situation, but thrive on using any situation that has at least one variable they are hateful about to say the worst they can think of. Not enough to say don’t agree; that is why it’s not legitimate. Obvious the only agenda is to be nasty and try to rile up others as deplorable as themselves. I’m glad BG managed to survive her ordeal and maintain her integrity. Her light shines and all the haters have black souls.

She was not raised by her biological Dad who would have treated her like a Princess as he was doing before being separated from her life.

She chose to take drugs she knew were illegal to another country. Got caught, and was picked to he brought home over our service members. Pathetic. Same as the genius that took pew pews in his carry on. I don't give a f what it's like walking in her shoes.

Ummm??? Did we forget she made a decision as a grown adult of possession weed in Russia when she is American citizen????? And she got traded with the merchant of d€ath and hey trying to make a while story line that has nothing to do with the crime she committed Sad part is the average citizen will not get this much support and will serve 3-20 for drugs 🤷🏽♀️

How come the drugs weren't discovered in the U. S. Before departure from the U. S.? I think she should have served the full sentence. I pack my own bags too. I don't take drugs and I would never transport them into a 3rd country. I don't handle anything I haven't bought myself either.
