My dad was a career military officer, so I called & asked him about the mitary bag & it's value. He said that is your "go bag." Pretty much whatever you'd need to survive in it such as weapons, money, passports, etc. So the bag itself is nice but its what's inside that's important. ❤U!

I love the story behind your tattoo! My nephew is autistic as well, and I myself was just diagnosed recently in my 20s. I will say that autism speaks and the puzzle piece have a bit of a shady history, so you may not want to do that symbol! An alternative one is the rainbow infinity symbol used by the Autistic Self Advocacy Network!

Yeah, Autism Speaks and their puzzle piece are widely hated in the community. A rainbow infinity symbol is the symbol for neurodiversity, and a gold infinity symbol is the symbol of autism specifically. (Also, hard relate to Brandon and his handwriting. I don't think mine is much better than it was in second grade, lol.

Came here to say this, as an autistic person myself. The neurodiversity symbol would be the way to go (in my opinion at least). Of course it's up to you and what represents you and your brother the best! In any case the tattoo is so sweet. And don't feel too bad, I always forget if my little brother is 20 or 21 😅 I remember growing up relatives would get my age wrong too. Heck, sometimes I swear I still forget how old I am lmao PS. I have read that the handwriting thing is common in autism, and I have seen similar handwriting in friends who are also autistic. We often hold the writing utensil differently and use an atypical amount of pressure (I press too hard, which fatigues my wrist and makes my writing look shaky. I'm trying to teach myself to write more lightly but it's frustratingly difficult to do so)

Your tattoo and reason behind it is so cute and so special. I’m prior Air Force… Im sure all the other branches are the same way..but I know that our deployment bags have SO much equipment in it. Uniforms and other stuff needed for that trip. It ends up being/costing a whole lot of money. I think like each bag and its worth can be around $3,000-4,000. Things have your name on it too so that might also be why they didn’t wanna take it. But then again, they took Yan’s dress blues. Like that’s just sick. I’ve been a silent fan here for a long time. We all know there’s a chance of us not coming back home. I feel like people may not think their job is any different than someone else’s who isn’t in the military. Several duffel bags are issued to military personnel, but whichever one holding specific gear is the “b-bag”. It sounds like just one thing “his b-bag”, but it’s a duffel bag full of stuff… sellable stuff.

My ex husband was a Navel officer , and that sea bag is extremely important , not that’s is necessarily valuable money wise, but even after you leave the military on good terms , if your not disable the sailor has to hold onto it for several years incase they are recalled . That bag contains everything they need to maintain their duty, it’s their mobile unit, contains everything they need to go at a moments notice , and when your on duty if your seabag is missing something during an inspection that’s their azz,.. Another military person wouldn’t rummage through it, because they’re aware what’s in it, and they already have one .

If you’re a civilian ransacking a home you’re definitely going to go through that bag because it’s huge and you don’t know what’s all in there. The only reason you wouldn’t go through that bag if you’re stealing from a home is if you know what’s already in that bag and most military personnel know what’s in there, how heavy it is and how much unfolding you gotta do lol 😂.

My husband is active duty navy and he was issued a Seabag in bootcamp. These are the bags you will typically see them travel with when packed properly and completely full they weight about 45lbs. Military issue anything is worth hundreds of dollars sometimes but they are also waterproof etc so the quality of the bag itself makes them useful and valuable. When ashore or at home and not deployed or at sea the seabag is usually empty (at least as far as my husband is concerned)

Not the puzzle piece!😢 that is disliked largely by the autistic community for its history and connection to autism speaks that has worked for years to find a cure for autism though it doesn’t need one and seeks to correct and assimilate autistic people rather than accept who they are and thrive as their own person. An alternative is the infinity sign.
