I was worried to see that this was the first CG video you were watching, since 99% of them are more comedy education than sad education, but then I realized it’s probably the best introduction to him as a channel and a person that someone could have.

9:54 It's great that you brought up horses because I used to always wonder the same thing. I never grew up around horses, but in my 20s, I dated a girl and became besties with her horse. It turns out they absolutely love people and pretty much act like giant dogs... that don't realize how massive they are, lol. I never rode him, but would walk beside them while she rode... and it was so cute because little dude wouldn't cross a creek, a little trickle of water, unless I crossed it first to prove it was safe. I'd highly reccomend meeting and getting to know a horse if you ever get the chance. Awesome creatures... I'd never ride one, but i'd gladly walk beside one.

When Elephants in Captivity are adopted by circuses and whatnot, and they are " retired", they usually stop eating because they feel that their heard was rejecting them.

His deadpan, creatively funny, bar dropping way of delivering these animal facts in a way that us layman folk can understand is just awesome. The many crazy nicknames he be giving these animals be having me screaming. I even got his book he published a couple of years ago: "100 Animals That Can F*cking End You". Yes, that's the literal title of his book, and I hope he drops more 😄...

So I was born and raised in Kenya Nairobi and as a family we would take the family SUV and go enjoy the wildlife. We would enjoy and view the animals in their natural habitat, environment and life. The threat of an animal charging the SUV or one of us being hurt or worst case scenario being killed was something we just accepted. Now fast forward to us moving to Canada...we had a family friend that took a job at the Toronto Zoo...when we (my mom and I along with other people) found out, we shamed her till she quit her job. I am staunchly against zoo's. Accredited legitimate animal sanctuaries I'm for. Sanctuaries like the one Kevin Richardson run or Dean Schneider. I have volunteered at the Kevin Richardson sanctuary and I'll be volunteering at the Dean Schneider sanctuary on my next vacation. On the last safari we went on my mom tried to pet a wild hyena.. obviously she almost lost her hand..but she knew the risks..she just can't help herself. She thinks she's a universal animal whisperer.. clearly she isn't.
