He really didn’t get political. He just spoke truth. What is amazing to me is that I was in Israel at that same time, stayed in the same hotel as Jimmy. He was there with a whole election monitoring crew. Like Dave, I will never forget how inspiring it was to see Jimmy there in the middle of it. Imagine you live on a street and there is a trash problem. Trash in the street and in all yards. You want to clean it up. You speak to all your neighbors and they agree but won’t do anything to help and actually keep tossing more trash out their windows daily. You could spend every cent you make trying to fix the problem and could not see any noticeable results. Would you be ok going into debt just to fight this “issue” knowing the results of no noticeable difference? This is climate change. Republicans say yes this may be an issue but they are not willing to kill the USA economy throwing all that money at an issue that won’t have any result because the rest of the world don’t care to help. Republicans want innovation to make changes to help fight this (solar, wind, etc) that won’t kill USA Economy. Dems want to spend Billions of tax payer money that it “may” drop the temp by 1/2 degree over the next 20 years.

My thing is...yes, there is climate change, but there has ALWAYS been climate change. Do you think the dinosaurs were sitting in a circle arguing about their farts in the atmosphere before the ice age hit? If the ice age isn't a change in climate, I don't know what is. AND...we've had years of drought cycles. Everything is a cycle, and weather is literally no different. YES climate changes, but NO, we're going to be fine for years and years longer than it's assumed. This is annoying AF. No one uses common sense anymore.
