I'm on y'alls side on this, but the majority of spending is fiat. That means they print it out of thin air. Taxes only pay for so much. They ran out of that and instead of tripling taxes and causing an uproar they just started creating money. Inflation is the tax you can't vote on. 55% of trump spending was fiat. Trump signed a 2.2-6 trillion dollar bill (variable amount, closer to 6). And on top of that, Biden was FAR WORSE.

Even if there were designated pots of funds for causes outside the US, when the US is in the dire straits we are now (militarily, economically, etc.), those funds should be pulled back into the US. Samson is an underrated rapper and I recommend checking out his other songs (maybe not the song Nancy though..a little too risque) Britt, just remember: there's no such thing as "government funded", it's all taxpayer funded. The question about Ukraine is: WHY? Why is our government, and specifically, the Biden administration, SO invested in Ukraine? What do they have on us/Biden? What's being protected? etc. The government only cares about itself, not us. This all about the elites and an overall political agenda.

In comparison to our taxes, there’s very little money that does not come from the tax payer, ie. government trade. So yes, about 95% of all money government wastes is from our pockets. As far as homelessness, many of them choose to be homeless and then many of them are addicts and/or mentally unstable and just can’t sustain themselves. So my question is, if you gave all of them a good job, a home, a car, mental health care and substance abuse treatment… what percentage would maintain that lifestyle? I’m not saying we shouldn’t try, but I believe a very small portion of that 100 billion would actually help the homeless. That money should go to US infrastructure, our national security and disaster relief. Also, I happen to be a political science and economics major but so are many of the idiots in Washington wasting our money and lying to us about how and why they waste our money. An argument form a position of expertise especially when it comes to politics and economics doesn’t necessarily mean “truth”

So as far as the taxes under Trump vs Biden: The tax code to my knowledge hasn't chabged under Biden. When Trump changed the tax code he celebrated giving everyone a tax cut, but the tax cut for most brackets were short term and the higher income brackets (the wealthy) were long term. So the tax cut for the wealthy is still in place, but our taxes went back up, and now ot feels like its under Biden.

We are under zero obligation so send money to anyone else in the world. Every dollar could be spent here but they’re purposefully trying to reck our economy for “equality” because they think we shouldn’t get to keep all of our wealth. Government is complicated as it takes on complex things that we need to work together to achieve. There is always room for improvement but know that it may take decades to effectuate the changes we seek. In our "I want it now!" Veruca Salt-esk culture we have no patience for the slow pace of governmental change, but that is why we, as citizens, need to be actively pushing our representatives and letting them know that the status quo is not acceptable.

Homelessness is also a very interesting issue while we have a welfare state. A vast majority of homeless people are there voluntarily, and I don’t really blame them.
