I turned 30 in November and I freaked out! It was terrifying. At the time my husband and I were actually in the process of buying our first house ACROSS the country so I had a good distraction. I struggled with infertility for 7 years and EVERY birthday my wish would be for me to get pregnant. Becoming a mom is my lifetime goal. I feel I was meant to be a mom but my had other ideas. I especially wanted to be a mom before 30. I wasn't. I did IVF and had 2 miscarriages and was told we could IVF again in the new state we moved to but it wasn't going to be until Sept. (I'll be 31 in Nov.) but life had other amazons plans and I somehow got pregnant on my own and found out 2 days before Christmas. So now 30 has been my best year yet. I will be a mom no later then early Sept. (She's due Aug. 30th) My goal will be reached at age 30 which was so scary to me.

Personally, I love Britt's little chats in the vlogs because she brings everything to the table and speaks the truth. I can totally relate to what she means about people getting caught up in social media instead of real life. When we are online, texting, and posting pictures it takes time away from the things we could be doing in real life. I had to take a brief break from social media to get myself together once (at the time I was battling anorexia). I was really caught up in social media and not focusing on what I needed to do to become better as I was getting sick, and soon it became too late. Later on I realized that I needed to focus on the important things in life, and social media wasn't on that list. Of course, I'm better now, and I can understand where you're coming from Britt. Thanks for the vlog chats! 😊

I feel what you're saying about social media , Britt. But , I feel like social media has both positive and negative effects , depending on the person. On one side , it can become addictive for many people and some can't stay off of it for even a second and want to capture every moment just to put it online. Whereas for other like myself, you enjoy it every now and then and it kind of opens up a whole new world of discovery. It gives you a glimpse into peoples lives , helps you to connect with friends , and so on. So , yeah if you spend to much time on it , it can possibly become toxic ,but checking it every now and then isn't a bad thing to me :) .

I think social media is a good/bad thing you can meet new people, learn new things, and much more. We also rely on it sometimes to where it's almost our only social life and that's the bad side plus many more. I find Britt's rants interesting because they teach me life lessons. I might be too young to relate to all of them but at the end of the day they teach me something. I want to be able to look back at my teen years and say I remember doing that but how can I when social media has such a huge impact on my life now. I had a crisis/life change moment when I turned 30. You're not alone! And now that I am approaching 40, there's another. I try to think of it as a gut check. Am I living the life I want? Have I accomplished what I wanted to by this age? Things of that nature. Keep us posted about things!

It's very much a distraction. I actually go on "hiatus" often. I consider myself an introvert, so I tend to over analyze and internalize a lot of thoughts and feelings, and social media is extremely thought provoking. A lot of constant opinions and views. It has a history of driving my thoughts down too many avenues at once, and sometimes I just need to "fast" from it all to "re-center" those thoughts and get back to "me".

Brit the 30's are awesome. I remember in my 20's being around some 30 somethings that didnt even know each other but they shared this hearty laugh like they had some inside track on life that i knew nothing about. I think the hearty laugh had to do with exprience and not giving a damn no more. I laugh like that now and coming close to 40 i can't wait to see how i laugh. You'all's videos aren't boring, it's a family channel, it's adorable and entertaining to watch! The haters who come to bash on you'all's channel don't have a purpose on YT. They don't know what they're on YT for. That's why they're so temporary, they just come and go, with no purpose.. They come for themselves, and to please themselves.. and don't come with support, for a YTber's effort to be themselves. A family based channel doesn't have to be adventurous all the time, sometimes it can be a trip to the store or just chilling at home. It's the family bonds you all have that are THE goals and entertaining! The bonds you and Austin share with each and other and your children IS the entertainment! It's doesn't have to be perfect and artificial.. through and the good and the bad.. It shows that you all are real!
