As a teacher, I've really enjoyed seeing the interviews with the kids who attend and care about their church community. Some people will take an opportunity to complain about anything that is different and out of their comfort zone. Keep pushing toward that van and boiler!

I can't even lie, in some past vlogs I would skip the interviews because I was just thinking like it is unfair to advertise someone's church like that when some people who watch the vlogs are kids or struggling themselves (me being one) and because the vlogs were so short because of the interview, but I was really moved by opening. And what kind of Christian would I be if I really ignored my family's cry for help (because yes we are all a family). So I just donated $30 I know it isn't much but it's from my heart and I know you guys really appreciate it. I'm sorry for being selfish at first, but i'm a sinner. The most important thing is that I learned from my mistake. God bless you all, love you guys.

I really do plan to donate. I'm asking Austin to not close the campaign until after Christmas. By the way, I was born and raised in Chicago and I know the need... I didn't find the interviews invasive, only to inform the what and why funds were needed. I also didn't mind the shorter vlogs during this time. It's quite sad that I se I comments saying how they won't donate because it's not their religion or something they believe in. I'm a Muslim and I don't see it as that. I see it as another human being, needing our compassion and help. Why not? When has God ever said never to help someone because they are of different ethnic, language or religion? Ross and Austin I just want to encourage you all in your works for the young people. I am a youth leader in an area where children come to church hungry, we have to provide them with food, clothes/shoes and school supplies. Never apologize for helping our youth!! Would people rather that they be in the streets getting into trouble or in harms way? I saw comments about church offering but what many don't understand is, that the offering in low income areas are often just that.... low. So please don't get dis-encouraged and know that there are many of us that enjoyed the interviews and many that I am sure still plan to give(I know I do). Blessings and I pray you reach your goal!

Ok...I'm personally ashamed that Ross felt that he needed to apologize for ANYTHING! I personally live a hop skip and a jump away from Chicago. I don't have much at all. I'm a single mom, with chronic pain who goes to school and is trying to find a job (I'm on disability) to keep a roof over my kids head, and to just give her a better life. I know what it means to need to know that at least one person cares. I couldn't donate at this time, but if it's still open when I have money again, I WILL! I also shared the gofundme on my FB. I'm not christian and I have an issue with the Christian church, but even I liked seeing the passion and compassion in this effort. Its very telling when people are bothered by people trying to help young children (at risk youth at that, from the sound of it) invest in positive activities. It is disgusting. No apologies were necessary. The people who complained, during a "season of giving", should be the ones apologizing. "Jesus take the wheel," as you all say. Good luck to you guys!

Guys stop complaining about the short blogs. Austin and brittney have a lot in their hands with 3 kids and finding time for each other. be grateful that they atlas get the blogs up with out slacking. I love you NULLS !
