Bed bath and beyond usually has these dryers for around $30. You can definitely get your hair straighter if instead of tucking under you go the other way. Use the dryer with round brush techniques instead of a paddle brush and you’ll get the best results

I'm so scared to trim my own hair, which is weird. Years ago, I used to cut my own hair all the time. After I began to grow my natural hair, I became scared of trimming it myself. I'm working on getting past it.

I only trim my hair after a blow out and straightening, which I do about twice a year. This I feel is best to truly see split or damaged ends.

I used to be scared to do it myself but I trim very minimal the first day of my blowout and after about a week of wearing it straight I will look to see if there are any spots I missed or could have trimmed better. Over time you learn and can get it right the first time around

That’s too much work. Why not just get a blow dryer with a comb on it, it’s much better and takes less time. I use one and it takes 10 mins to fully blow out my hair. I use the gold and hot blow dryer with a comb

Well, It worked fine for my hair. It’s too much arm work for me to do the other way, but keep doing what you like. Also, no matter what I do my hair will never take 10 minutes to blow dry because its too thick. Again because my hair is probably different than yours.
