I'm agnostic, never been a christian. Tha k you Derek Prince gor sharing this message. For many years since my childhood. I have endured a lot of trauma from physical, emotional, mental and sexual abuse for many years. It took so much out of me that I have lost my way in life. My parents rejected me, I was bullied in school by my classmates and teachers for who I was answering where I came from, I was se ugly assaulted numerous times and people blamed me for it when I needed their emotional support. It took so much out of my life that i tried to commit suicide on numerous occasions. Little to my understanding at the time was that the Lord had refused for me to die. I cried out to Him and said why won't you let me die? I am no good and am not worthy, I have sinned and broke all of Your commandments, just let me die already. But He wouldn't let me. Little did I realize that i one day would be forgive and chosen by Jesus to to something so much greater than I. Wgat moved me the most was when Derek Prince made mention of Jesus bearing our guilt and shame through His nakedness while hanging on the cross just how much it humbles me. No matter how many times how much I go through pain and suffering 8n this lifetime, Jesus bore all of things for me already. I wish there were more people like him that would teach like this. It is so genuinely pure and wholesome. This message has helped me tremendously overcome all of these things that had been troubling me and keeping me from knowing who Jesus really is. Eventually, I hot saved in 2017 and had the honorable pleasure of meeting Jesus. He has seen my afflictions and has reminded me that He is always there for me as has been mentioned throughout the entire Bible.

CS Lewis explains that because Jesus is God - the God-Man - His hours on the cross were actually eternity… and that He did not die for all the sins of the world as one big lump sum - but rather He was on that cross for YOU as an individual - it was just Him and your sins on that cross… you and Him one-on-one. Imagine that! Our sun is not hidden in the mess of all the worlds sin - God knows every single sin in our life, Jesus knowingly paid for every single sin of yours and mine because He loves us even if we are revolting. When I realized Jesus was on that cross for me personally LITERALLY - not just me as part of a group - I couldn’t stop crying. Next time you see a picture of the cross think about that is Jesus and just your life on that cross.
