So when King Bosse died a devil came out of him, pointed at Bojji and laughed. Bojji, even though he is the child of two strong giants he's unnaturally short (he's like 10-12 years old and the height of a toddler), literally cursed to be unable to grow his strength. And now we can assume that King Bosse in Daida's Body says he's sacrificed another son. I think it's safe to assume he stole Bojji's strength. He wouldn't have taken his speed because King Bosse had no use for that. All his fight scenes have been him standing still and cleaving foes in half. But King Bosse at some point cursed Bojji and stole his strength. I think King Bosse was a good man and he did love Bojji so there must have been a good reason.

Yeah manga spoiler ahead.... Bosse made a pact with the devil to gain more strength at the cost of bojji strength. I have read 177 chapters of ousama rangkings manga and ousama rangkings is getting more and more awesome

I think bosse has gone thru this process numerous times, like the king bosse was also a resurrection and this has been going down for generations, I do wonder if this has something to do with the curse, but why would he be want to be resurrected in a cursed body? I assume whoever was made king would get this treatment

My theorie is that he Sacrificed Bojjis physical strength (cursed him ) to become so strong. He was 1st Rank which was impressive, even for a giant. And now he sacrificed the life of his second son to be resurrected. My other theorie is that this was not boss talking but the devil who was inside him and the "I sacrificed another son" means this entire ritual goes on for generations.

"Another son" might mean that he was resurrected many time. In reality he is not only Bojji's father but also his Grand Grand Grand Father who sacrifice every time his son to get resurrected

I doubt it would be easy to get spoilers from this series since English translations are only up to chapter 20 while the anime is probably almost around chapter 40 by now. The only thing i got spoiled on was the magic mirror's name.

i don't think king bosse wanted to sacrifice bojji OR sacrifice daida for him to be resurrected. king bosse probably knew that the mirror girl mas manipulating daida. and became one of the reason why he chose bojji cause he is not influenced by the mirror girl. thats probably why king bosee said "i sacrificed another son huh". is because he didn't want to be resurrected again and the mirror girl wishes for king daida to rule the kingdom forever

At this point, I'm just always wondering when the next plot twist will happen or the creators pull the wool over our eyes because this stuff is CRAZY! But, that one of the things I love most about this story. I can't ever seem to predict it!

I'm thinking optimistically here and hoping the king wasn't behind Bojji's curse. It might have been the demon inside of him or someone else entirely becoz in the first few eps we see King Bosse wanting Bojji to become strong and become the next KIng. Actually hold on a minute, what if he wanted to resurrect in Bojji?! Idk, but King Bosse could have had other kids before. Or maybe he sacrificed his other family members- Bojji's real mom. We still dk what happened to her...i'm curious coz she too was a giant(shown in ep 1)

(Just a thought) When I watched this episode for the first time I thought that king bosse is not actually himself, but someone that took over him and impersonating as Bosse, maybe his father or great grandfather depending on how long it's been going on(guessing it's decades) and the hooded lady is a mage that invents black magic and she also done the ritual on herself for couple of time to preserve her consciousness.

in the manga when the devil comes out of his body they say right away whats happening with bojji and him. also why he decided to make the kingdom. also the weapon he choose is a rapier i think. on the promo materials he holds something that looks similair to it.
