Khan’s Halal truck on the corner of Broad and Hunting Park ❤ the BEST halal food truck in Philly and I’ve tried a lot of them. Their line is always wrapped around the block especially during Ramadan. Good folks and consistent quality food

I really miss eating from the halal carts in University City. I would eat from the same guy two to three times a week. It was so good and so affordable! There was enough food for two meals in each box for under ten dollars!

You need to keep extra napkins and utensils in the car. I also bought McD style trays for my kids when they didn't want to eat in the kitchen. Get them at any restaurant supply,so cheap.

A few feet away is Delassandro's Cheesesteak and Chubby's Cheesesteak on Ridge. That's in the Roxborough neighborhood of NW Philly. The white sauce is basically mayo with some lemon juice.

I tried the chicken over rice 8 years ago for the first time and i love it !! The best i tried so far is the one on Delancey street in NY on the corner next to the subway and near 7eleven. I'm excited to eat it again on my next trip to the city in a few weeks !! That plate of food looked so good and what a nice guy !! Glad you enjoyed the food !! ❤

I like the Halal guys, but I cannot eat that hot sauce. To me, it's like there isn't enough vinegar in their hot sauce. I tried it once, never again! Lol. As long as I have the white sauce, I'm a happy camper! Enjoy and safe travels! I'd love to try other halal places, but am unable to right now.
