Broadcast spreader modification for proper overlap

Just a tip for how to easily visualize the proper overlap when using a broadcast spreader.
I apologize for the weird shake in this video. I have a cheapy phone, and I turned on the video stabilization and I think it makes things worse. I noticed this in some previous videos, but it's really bad here, and probably in my next video, too. We'll see if it's better eventually.

Thank you, Gail. I do fix a lot of stuff. Sometimes it seems I spend more time fixing things, than actually using them. That was definitely true for my old tractor that I got rid off a couple of months ago.

I've been holding on to this, and a couple of other videos, for about 2 weeks as I tried to find a free video editor that Iiked, and would do what I had in mind for an intro. I'm going to do a video about that soon, because it was a major hassle, and I found an interesting solution.

Where do you use it? Obviously the clover and weed filled area it’s sitting in isn’t maintained....

The lawn it is sitting on is Zoysia, but it has a mix of other indigenous flora. It's lush, and I'm perfectly happy with it. I have used the spreader for spreading tick granules and lime. Now mainly for fire ant stuff, which takes care of the ticks, too.

We don't have fire ants, fortunately. Good idea to get a more even overlap. Well done...
