For this particular occasion, this song being sung by ONE person was more appropriate. It sounded like a hymn normally sung in church. Had it been sung by a duet, there could have been some distraction because of 2 voices sounding like MORE of a PERFORMANCE to get applause than a REAL PRAYER SET TO MUSIC. Very emotional delivery.

EVERY Filippino I have met describes Mrs. Salonga as the pride of their country and listening to her it is obviously truthful. She is also such a great representative on the Voices of the Kids. I also had a Martial Arts instructor who stated in the 2nd world war the Fillipino were allies that NEVER disappointed. While I could never get the instructor to talk much he went on for a full hour praising these great people. Such talent. Watch Voices of the kids with her, it is so worth seeing her and the other talented children she judges. AWESOME!!
