Thank you mom still. Narcissists are also victims themselves especially during their childhood years. Usually, someone at home who is narcissistic victimizes kids. These narcissists do not attack adult, but helpless kids. 😪 As adults, we get to know these individuals when they start to talk, and you know you're talking to a narcissistic person already. Haha. Childhood years is critical years for everyone coz that is when our perceptions are formed. Our perception affects our actions and ultimately - - - our future. I have forgiven mom and thought that it's part of her being human. Now, she is happy, and I'm happy too coz we don't live under the same roof. 😉

This is the first time I've heard of her rendition and I love it. Made me shed tears and think of my parents. I lost both and sometimes it hurts to see my friends and cousins (some older than me), still have both parents. Your words touched my heart. My mom lived with me for the last 20 years of her life. She was there for my 2 girls when they were young. My husband traveled a lot. She was the the anchor with her live and nagging lol. She died at home with us at age 97 in 2020. We did home hospice. I wished I had spent more time with her and told her I loved her more towards the end. I know she’s in a better place and we will meet soon. ❤️
