No Filipino accent when she is interviewed by a non Filipino, but she has it when interviewed by a Filipino. First person I know of that deliberately puts in the Filipino accent, because for most, its the other way around.

This isn’t something exclusive to Lea. Lots of people will adopt accents that they hear around them: people pick up a bit of a British accent or southern accent when they are around that, especially for a while. I think Lea has mentioned she has a good ear and picks up accents well (at least when she was younger). You can look at Gillian Anderson interviews over the years. She was born in England, moved to the USA when she was 11 and shed her British accent. But as an adult she moved back to England and has been living there a long time. Her British accent comes and goes depending on who she is speaking with. I’ve seen interviews a week apart where she speaks differently.
