thank you so so so much Marty!!! As a teenager who has big dreams for Broadway, this was so helpful. There's been a lot of times I've struggled with feeling like I wasn't enough and with comparison. I can't believe it's over! When I saw cabaret in the summer you complemented my outfit during intermission and you were just so sweet and amazing during the show. It was just amazing in general and I was so lucky to see it, especially with so much non-binary representation I was just so happy. Respectfully, I’m going to disagree about joining the union as soon as possible. I am an actor in nyc who is currently only doing non union work, and if I were to join the union I wouldn’t be able to do a lot of these projects. Eventually I do want to join the union and work on Broadway, but that WILL limit the work I am able to do, since once you are union you can’t do a lot of the non union work you were doing before. Trust yourself, talk to your peers and mentors, your career is your own and no one else’s, do what’s best for you
