He’s amazing, a tight end that runs the ball like a true full back, and runs routes like a wide receiver. Never a fan of his teams but I love the guy football wise

Thank you! Bowers definitely has the feel of a generational player at the position. He's got everything you want out of a tight end, and the position overall has been lacking some explosiveness. It's a perfect landing spot also. If the Raiders get that quarterback of the future sometime soon, then you can see a genuine connection forming between him and Bowers. That would be a scary sight.

Looks like every other solid TE to me. His YAC is what made him special in college. If that ability never translates to the NFL I don’t see anything “generational” about him

I can understand that, though I feel like it's the athletic ability that makes him special, which also translates to his ability to create yards after the catch. He's a tall, physical player with the speed and acceleration to back it up. The tight end position in itself also doesn't have many "electric threats" if any at the moment. Guys like Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews are fantastic, but I think Bowers is shiftier or faster, and with more experience we might really see that leap.

As a raider fan I had an off topic question. Why is MO painted in gold in the word Baltimore in the end zone? Am I wrong and you guys are in Missouri and not Maryland? 😂😂.

Haha no you're right! I'm no Ravens fan either, but I'm fairly certain that the MO painted is in honor of a former player/coach! Believe his name was Mo Gaba!
