I remember that game with Steve Young making that 50 yd run. I was in Cabo San Lucas. Went with my buddy to go fishing down there and spent the morning on a panga catching tunas and mahi mahis. Last boat out, caught about 13 tunas and mahi mahis and then came back. Went back to our hotel where they said they would cook our fish and serve it with fries for about $3. Took a shower and went down to watch the 49ers v Vikings game. My buddy was from SD so he was a Vikings fan and we bet our lunch on that game, loser pays for the beer and cooking. I won that so it was the end of one of my Top 5 days!

Baldy must not remember, but Montana was actually the fastest man on the team in 1981, the next fastest being Freddie Solomon. To me, Purdy looks a lot more like Montana (and how he ran vs the Dolphins in Superbowl 19) to me than Steve Young.

Let's hope that Brock and the rest of the 49ers bring their A game to Vegas two Sundays from now. I live in Vegas so we are thrilled that they 49ers are coming for the first Super Bowl here. Don't have $19k for 2 tix, 70% higher than last year's tix, so we'll be either at a local resort or a neighbor's place to watch the game. Go Niners!
