This is why Brock can show peace while under immense pressure, and throw the ball with accuracy. He is honored because God’s Word says, he who humbles himself, will be exalted. The reason I love Brock, in this day and age, is that he is just who he is, no more, no less. He doesn't give a rat's ass about what other people think. I'm not "religious" in the strict sense of the word but I do agree with his take: I'm here to do whatever life (God) has in store - I work hard, do my best and that's all I can do and I will be grateful for where it takes me. I loved the Baltimore question and his response to it. I really thought Brock had gotten into QB-dual/pissing contest for the MVP award against Lamar. He wanted to outshine him. Ego really took over, which was so unlike him. It's kinda funny because that, that's how QBs lose when playing vs Mahomes, because they want to outshine Mahome and get into a QB dual instead of playing the game and trusting their gameplan and teammates. Allen and Lamar both played hero ball vs Mahomes and paid the price. I hope Brock learned from that and doesn't get into any of that nonsense and just puts his head down like he usually does and carry on doing his thing
